For those with smaller hands, rather than poker sized cards, you can use bridge cards. They are the same length as poker cards only maybe a half centimeter thinner, which makes handling much easier.

in new zealand its hard to get good cards because people just mainly play cards not do card tricks in new zealand:(

maybe its my cards, but whenever i do this, i usually cant do more than a couple in a row cuz the cards slide out instead of staying together in the deck

I'm not exactly from outside the states, but if you cant find a pack of bicycles where you are, order a pack from the internet. May I suggest Bicycle Ghost?
